Birthday Treat for Zihui (my lovely cousin)

My uncle ordered a cake from me for my lil' cousin birthday. After my successful experiment with the Chocolate Peanutbutter Pie, i decided to make that for her birthday treat & therefore, tada! When frozen in the freezer, this pie tastes amazingly like ice-cream cake so there goes!

Sprinkle some freshly chopped roasted peanut just before serving~

Chocolate & Peanutbutter Pie

A long time ago, I was working as a trainee at the Oriental Hotel (pastry department) during one of the school attachments. I met this wonderful & patient chef who gave me a beautiful book on how to make various kinds of dessert.

I tried this the other day: A Chocolate & Peanutbutter Pie. Okie, it does not looks very pretty but it tastes yummy, according to my family (poor guinea pigs of mine too-often experiments).

Sweet Soup (Aloe Vera & Wolfsberry)

I first tried this refreshing dessert during one of the lunch meeting at the Chinese restaurant at Amara Hotel and found it to be really nice! Therefore, I tried making it for the family on one fine Sunday. Aloe Vera + Wolfsberry Sweet Soup! It has beautifying + cooling effect, great for a sunny day!

The Infamous JellyHeart ReNamed.

Otherwise known as JellyHeart by most, I like to call this the 'Strawberry Jello Cheesecake". Available for pre-orders in boxes of squares of 12 or 20 pcs/minimum 10 heart cups per order. Each heart cup is palm size and about 2 serving of 1 square cake(as above).

Made with Love started off on Valentine's Day

It all came about innocently.

A few weeks prior to Valentine's Day, yes, the BIG V, a good pal of mine suggested that she was going to open a bazzar and on impulse, i took a stall, with no idea or whatsoever what I am going to sell. It did not take long before I decided to sell this amazing dessert that I had fell in love with (I do have a sweet tooth) and that's how it all started...

There's a great story behind this but I shall not bore everyone about this. Ask me if you wish to know more. Anyway, back to Valentine 2009, we (with the help of my dear family) set up the stall at "Sculpture Square" and thanks to all family and friends' support, the event (though tiring!) was a successful one and just in case.. JUST IN CASE... anyone misses my sweet treats, I do take PRE-ORDERS for special occassions or if you just wish to satisfy a sweet tooth or make your special ones happy.
